NEW AND UNIQUE APPLICATION OF THE PRINCIPLES OF HOMEOPATHY
How and Why I found Homeopathy InterestingI am an avid student of Homeopathyand I have also studied other subjects related to health like psychology, exercise and other branches of medicinal sciences concerning health like diet, yogasanas, and rules of rest, sleep and recovery and so on. I have done all this basically as a matter of hobby and curiosity. To be able to do this I founded a trust in 1990 called the ‘Gole Patwardhan Trust for Health’ (Reg. No. E 563, Nashik, in Maharashtra in India). This Trust ran a homeopathy clinic for many years and it gave good and expected service to the society.
It must be told as a duty, I think, about how I have encountered Homeopathy and what is it about the science of ‘Homeopathy’ that has attracted me (and many others like me) to it since the days of Hahnemann till now.
Homeopathy is in our family since the days of my grandfather who was a registered practitioner and since my birth I was treated for illnesses with drugs like Belladonna, Pulsatilla, Nux Vomica and other homeopathic drugs. Much later, I went to study in college where I became a student of science. Here I learnt that present day science can’t explain Homeopathy. However, that information made me all the more interested in Homeopathy. Because I had always found it to be effective.
Even in the hostel of IIT Mumbai, where I stayed in the seventies, I had with me the copy of ‘Boericke’, a standard pocket book of homeopathy and I used to read it with interest and was able to use the information about Homeopathic drugs when needed quite effectively. I always have enjoyed the independence that the study of homeopathy has given me and I never ceased studying homeopathy from various angles.
The Journey that led to tametoxins.com

I decided to put up this site, the ‘tametoxins.com’ on the net because I genuinely believe that I have found something about the application of the science of Homeopathy which is new and unique and it is something big. It widens the scope of application of Homeopathy considerably and that happens without deviating from the principles laid down in the classical Homeopathy. But, before showing how that can be done I must state something of my background and how I was able to find this new scope for Homeopathy. This scope that I talk about is simply huge and still I can say that I was able to enter it and have now got some glimpses of it that have fascinated me. I think what I have hit upon is a gold mine for homeopathy.
It was somewhere in the year 2012 that I was reading about the ‘adverse effects’ conceptof Modern Medicines, it suddenly struck me that the presented material of adverse effects reads something very similar to ‘Materia Medica’ of Homeopathy. There is the name of the medicine [or the poison] at the top and below it are listed its recorded poisonous effects or the ‘adverse effects’. The books that I was reading were routine ready-reference handbooks for busy practitioner of Allopathy or the Modern Medicine. There were some 600+ medicines at the time (in 2016) and they had (as I discovered later on working upon it) 2700+ symptoms recorded as the ‘adverse effects’ at the end of the description for the use of the medicine. This format is very similar to the pattern of describing a Homeopathy medicine in the standard Materia Medica books of Homeopathy where the name of the drug is followed by the list of poisonous effects it is capable of producing in the ‘provers’ of it.The data and the tables in this work are the results of the compilation of that data, the name of the Allopathic drug or chemical followed by the list of ‘adverse effects’ it is capable of producing. This is utterly the ‘Homeopathic data’ of the medicine.
The approach here is novel and there are many symptoms that are new and unrecorded in the books of Homeopathy. Almost all the 600+ medicines are new but they fit well to be homeopathic remedies as all of them have the ‘adverse or the poisonous’ effects i.e. to say they are all ‘pathogenic’ and therefore poisonous and therefore admirably suited to be called ‘homeopathic remedies’.
I will end this topic by hinting at the fact that this approach of studying noxious and poisonous substances for their powers of producing various symptoms in humans and animals and then using that knowledge medically i.e. in homeopathic way, expands the scope of medicine tremendously and brings into ambit of medicine all the chemicals used in the industry or where ever, including weedicides, insecticides, pollutants and whatever poisons that are a part of hazards of modern life.
A Word of Thanks
I felt like I had discovered a goldmine and I decided to make a systematic Materia Medica and Repertory out of the data available from many books and number of sites on the net. It was a huge task and I could not have done it without a computer or the help given to me by my young friends Mr. Bhavesh Varade a computer expert and Mrs. Swati Bedmutha, an enthusiastic friend of mine who worked for hours each day compiling the data. As can be imagined this job took participation of many well wishers and friends to bring it up to this phase. My friend and mentor Dr. Shyam Ashtekar, M.D. and Dr. Kranti Patwardhan D.H.M.S., my daughter in-law have helped me in writing the article for the Interpathy journal JREMEDIS. In this article lies the core of this hypothesis of which the following work is I think the first expression and that it will keep on changing as the time goes by. This is because new remedies (i.e. chemicals, esp. poisonous) will keep on coming in and new symptoms will keep manifesting themselves from the new and even old remedies as well and that data will come from the Allopathic, Modern Medicine sources!
This study has raised a new point in the science of homeopathy. Homeopathy thus far mainly uses the subjective symptoms only but in this new compilation ‘objective symptoms’ are there. Academically speaking it will be good to know whether objective symptoms and pathological symptoms can be as useful for arriving at a remedy speaking homeopathically as the subjective symptoms. Even in the very old days of homeopathy, Isopathy and Tautopathy had emerged as authentic branches of homeopathy. Here in this work, homeopathy and Modern Medicine seem to collide once more, homeopathy benefitting tremendously, I wonder how they will get along in the future.
